Event description

Description

You are invited to join other Taos community members in a bridge-building relational workshop.

Peace Camp is an interfaith, multi-cultural experience providing an inclusive environment where we can reaffirm the message and practice of nonviolence and peacemaking from various world traditions in a fun and cooperative atmosphere. It is based on successful youth programs that bring together multiple religions, faiths, denominations and nonprofit/service organizations in a partnership that promises to make for an exciting opportunity for reconciliation.

The goal is an effort to bring members of differing communities into fellowship using methods that uplift and highlight cultural variety through sharing of customs. By cultural we mean everything – language, arts, food, social customs, stories, currency use and especially, forms of worship.
