Building Bonanza @ Washington, John Jacobs Feb 3rd - Mar 9th, 2012
Explore the world of Buildings and Structures and Cities in an exciting after school LEGO class.
Let’s explore the world of city building in LEGO scale!
Students will learn how engineers and architects work together to build bridges and buildings that we use in the real world. From small houses, to huge bridges that connect our cities, to tall towers, and laying out a city, students will observe and explore the buildings and structures that make up our society. They’ll don their hardhats and recreate what they see around them in LEGO scale, and in process, learn a lot about the cities they live in.
Class instruction includes lessons on how to use LEGO bricks in useful uncommon ways that create stronger structures or add decoration to existing creations.
(This class is open to mature K students through 6th)
