Workshop Description: Building Blocks to Enhance Early Learning Success Workshop will delve into the foundational and developmental skills children need to reach higher level learning in the classroom. Early childhood professionals will receive training from an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to address the foundational levels of learning: sensory, sensory motor, perceptual and cognition. Training obtained from this workshop will increase professional knowledge and understanding of what it means to teach the “whole” child, which in return will promote positive learning experiences and healthy developmental growth.

Early childhood professionals have vital roles in preparing students for academic success, but are often faced with many road blocks along the way. With the proper training, professionals can effectively prepare students of all ages and abilities for successful learning across all classroom environments.

This workshop is appropriate for early childhood teachers, administrators, pediatric therapists, social workers, counselors and students.

*In-service hours available for ECE Teachers*

** Enter to win a pair of free tickets to the Conscious Discipline and Teaching the "Whole " Child Conference on February 23, 2019.
