DESIGN LAB 2 - EVENT INVITATION

Following on from the West Midlands Screen Bureau's (WMSB) first design lab in November 2018 we are pleased to have announced the date and theme for our second lab event.

Building Blocks: Next Steps to Building our Creative Screen Sector

Date: Thursday 4th April 2019

Time: 9.00am - 5.30pm

Location: The Other Place, 22 Southern Lane, Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6BH

Travelling & Parking:

Venue: The Other Place - Royal Shakespeare Company.

*Please note* - The Other Place is located on the banks of the River Avon on Southern Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6BH. It's a minute walk along Southern Lane past the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a short drive from Junction 15 of the M40, giving good access to the M42, M5, M6 and M25.

Car parks
There is a large choice of fee-charging car parks stratford.gov.uk/transport/off-street-parking in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Closest car park is: Bridgewater Multi-storey Car Park - Bridgeway, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6YX

Accessible parking

There are parking spaces for blue badge holders at The Other Place - please turn into Avonbank Paddocks to access these.

There are many parking spaces around the town for disabled drivers provided by Stratford District Council These are free of charge when displaying a current blue-badge. Unless there is separate signage there is no time limit. On-street parking is also free for disabled drivers whilst displaying a current blue-badge and these do not have a time limit. Car parks operated by other organisations make charges for disabled drivers.

You can travel directly to Stratford-upon-Avon train station from Birmingham www.londonmidland.com (Snow Hill or Moor Street stations).

Direct trains from London Marylebone chilternrailways.co.uk (via Warwick, Warwick Parkway, Leamington Spa, Banbury and Bicester North)
