Event description

Description

You are invited to participate in the fourth workshop of a series being funded by the Scottish Universities Insight Institute, which brings together a collaboration of Scottish universities with IBioIC, Zero Waste Scotland, KTN and Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise focused on the Bio-economy aspect of the Circular Economy.

The Scottish universities are pleased to announce that these workshops form part of the Scottish Circular Economy Business Network programme of events for 2016/17 following its launch in November 2015.

These are action-focused workshops, connecting businesses with academic experts to identify and help overcome barriers faced by businesses wishing to progress towards more circular business practices.

The fourth 2016/2017 workshop will be held on the 15th December 2016 at the Technology and Innovation Centre, 50 George Street, Glasgow G1 1RD. The workshop will be based around a “back casting” exercise on the bio economy sector, which involves looking forward to what you would like to happen, looking at the status quo and then roadmapping the route to achieving the set of goals outlined. There will also be the opportunity to discuss your interest in future projects based on the outcomes of this series of workshops.
