My Dear Friends and Associates. Exciting news for all of us! You are kindly invited to join us for an exclusive private gathering, the Book Launch of She power & Phenomenal women by Huria Kiran on 25th of January 2019 in Mississauga!
The Event hosted by Huria Kiran and IWB - Immigrant Women in Business.
IWB is a non-profit social enterprise association. IWB specializes in integrated multicultural joint ventures that help organizations, governments and private corporations engage and connect with Canada’s diverse ethno-cultural communities to build profile and brands. Our members are committed to improving the world through positive leadership, compassion and dedication to learning, growing and giving.

Huria Kiran, from Pakistan,
A simple and sweet house wife who strongly believed in family values and equal rights for women, landed in Canada from Punjab in 2008 , who lived in huge joint family system of in laws where she faced oppression and abuse for 7 years. She went against her family traditions & got divorce in 2014 as a single mom of 2 young girls. Was on road without any money in her account. She Built herself without any family and financial support. Today She is the Regional marketing director/Partner of “Suiting experts on wheels” a custom clothing company, and at the same time taking care of her insurance brokerage “insureCanadian”.She conducted community awareness events/business seminars and received several awards for her services & initiatives. Been to several TV/Radio shows and interviewed as a symbol of Self love & woman of choice. She is speaker & the Author of book "Price for Peace”, and co authered books“She Power” and “Phenomenal woman”. The best is yet to come.

Irfan Malik, from Pakistan
is Diversity and Inclusion Advisory committee. Irfan is real estate broker in Re/Max active for last 18 years and believe me very trusted realtor for my hundreds of clients dealing in leasing, sale and purchase of all kinds of property. His passion is to assist people to open boundless opportunities through Higher Studies Grants and loans as a Community Service. He is involved is city of Mississauga committees & active involvement in City affairs. Irfan Malik wrote book on Women Empowerment.


Svetlana Ratnikova, from Russia
CEO, Founder at IWB Immigrant Women in Business
Brings a wealth of national and international experience to the company — from entrepreneurial, corporate, recruiting and marketing. With a record of starting and transforming organizations she is skilled at designing winning strategies, identifying new opportunities and mobilizing teams to achieve results. She is a values-driven and passionate about being on the front edge, inspiring growth and developing teams. As a seasoned business leader with 25 years of broad experience Svetlana concentrates on building and nurturing agency culture of professional growth and client-service excellence.

Stephen Clarke, from Canada
CEO at RTG Group Inc. - Social Entrepreneur - Mentor - Author - Change Maker - Disruptive Thinker
Stephen Clarke a former Professional Hockey Player who suffered a career ending knee injury at the age of 25. Stephen fought through depression with the help of many friends and found his “Next Chapter” in the creative world of Advertising where, like his athletic days he excelled in both the Corporate Arena with Global Giants like Foster Advertising, Maclean Hunter and Saatchi and Saatchi but also launched and grew his own Agency into a North American powerhouse before selling it. As a Retirement Project and through a promise he made to his Mother Stephen launched RTG Group Inc. a “For-Profit Social Enterprise” focused on feeding the hungry and building a Homeless Shelter in Downtown Toronto.

Aziza Zareh, from Afghanistan
Women Activist, Feminist and Gender Expert. MBA
Women’s right activist, feminist, gender equality advocate, and a self-made leader. She has Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and 17+ years of experience on women’ rights and gender-based issues in Afghanistan, she had the privilege to work with some the renowned humanitarian and development organizations such as UN, USAID, GIZ, AKDN and OXFAM. Aziza had established a Non-governmental organization (NGO) in Afghanistan to support and empower women and girls in all aspect of life, a special focus on economic independency.


Dr. Maureen, from Sri Lanka
Domestic Abuse Activist and Reproductive Justice freedom fighter. She is a Sri Lankan who immigrated to Canada 10 years ago where she faced Domestic Violence. Abuse was her life style until she decided to break it find her own freedom in Canada. Dr. Mau shares her own past and personal story to fight against and create awareness on domestic violence. She inspires all with her unique story of freedom and success. Her dream is to set the victim free and bring a smile into this world. She never gives up in pursuing her dreams and developing a safe environment.

Gila Yefet, from Israel
Gila Yefet immigrated to Canada from Israel at the age of 12. She is an Advertising Sales Executive at Ethnic Channels Group and has been a host of her TV show on the Israeli channel for the past ten years.
Gila is a pillar of our community; she is a Mediator, a legal support worker and a founder of “Women of Courage and Strength” - a support group for abused women. She is a motivational speaker and a life coach and is currently writing her first book. Her contribution spreads unto many different fields as she passionately dedicated
her life to helping those in need.

Suzanne Quinn, from Canada
is a lawyer, author and speaker whose experience both in her own life, and through her professional experience with clients, has developed a unique and positive way of dealing with adversity to transform your life. Her mission is to help people to understand law and support them, using her expertise in strategy, she delivers the perfect combination of education and inspiration that people need to make an immediate impact on their families and organizations.

Dr Marlyn Morris, from Guyana
Founder and Program Manager at Ontario College for Development Training
A trained and qualified Development Policy and Planning Specialist, Community Engagement Specialist, Legislative Reviewer and Drafter and an Educator. Over twenty years expertise working with various Governments in her fields of technical expertise and largely in public policy development and analysis; advising governments and strengthening public sector institutions throughout the Caribbean and Guyana, South America.
