About this event

Through this small group approach, we will share information about the topics covered in the Building Better Caregivers workshop and how participants build their toolbox. Learning from others like us, we explore self-care strategies that prepare us to become comfortable asking for help, techniques to manage symptoms, as well as putting a plan into place. During the BBC workshop, support is provided and given to each participant helping to build their toolbox for caregiving which improves the quality of life for both the caregiver and care partner.

Join the MVCN with special guests from Canary Health Katy Plant, Director of Service Innovation, and Candii Dana, Peer Facilitator Manager, to learn about the Building Better Caregivers program. Building Better Caregivers is a free, online program to help those caring for loved ones with dementia, memory problems, PTSD, brain injury, or any other serious injury or illness. The program has been recognized for its ability to reduce caregiver stress and depression and increase overall wellbeing. Come see how YOU can benefit from participating in Building Better Caregivers.
