Description

"Perfect Pitch: Creating stories with impact" with Ellen Koenig

May 30th, 5-7pm | LIBRARY ARTS CENTER GALLERY

The Library Arts Center opens its annual board development up to any and all working on boards to embetter the greater community.

We've all had to answer that question - "what exactly does your organization do?" Are you ready to answer that question in a way that is clear, concise and compelling and leaves listeners nodding their heads in support and admiration?

In other words,

Is your elevator pitch ready to go?

Join us as we discuss the many facets of telling our story effectively to community members, decision makers and donors. How do you get started? What are the key components to cover? How much data should you include? Is telling stories okay? What do you do if don't know the answer to a question?

Hear what has worked for others and share your own experiences. Maybe even practice your own pitch while you're at it!

This event will include light dinner at 5:00pm right before the presentation starts.

The Library Arts Center Board of Directors is opening up its annual development to all other members of other boards for organizations and nonprofits in the region in hopes that this opportunity can help not just the Arts Center, but many other boards at the same time in ways that only strengthen our greater community.

There is a $7.00 fee per participant, which includes a light dinner. Please register in advance. Call or email or visit the office with any questions, or to register. (603-863-3040)

There is an additional small fee to register online via Eventbrite, but if you would rather not incur the additional fee, you may mail your registration fee of $7.00 to Library Arts Center, 58 N. Main St. Newport, NH 03773 by May 23rd.
