Event description

Description

With the use of Adlerian techniques and theory, attendees will learn to understand the concepts of trauma and addiction through the lens of current research and how to help move clients towards a process of healing. We will review the ACEs study, working definitions of trauma, trauma’s impact upon the brain and concepts of trauma-informed care. The afternoon component will build upon this knowledge and look at the concepts of addiction and treatment by examining how trauma and addiction are linked. To participate in the workshop package please contact Evelyn Haas at (612) 767-7044.
