Building a Liveable Downtown: TOcore Phase II Stakeholder Workshop

Toronto's Downtown is growing. As more growth comes, we need to make sure it's joined by all the things that will make and keep Downtown liveable for all.
TOcore is a City of Toronto initiative that is developing a comprehensive plan for Downtown, with accompanying strategies related to:
- Buildings and Neighbourhoods;
- Parks and Public Spaces;
- Community Facilities;
- The Economy;
- Water; and
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the future of Downtown and we need your insights, ideas and creative thinking.
You are invited to join us in a workshop along with other representatives of key stakeholder groups. The City will provide an update on work done to date, and seek your input on a vision and livability factors as we make a new blueprint for our core. Some of the *NEW* TOcore information that will be shared and discussed at the meeting will be:
- An updated Downtown Vision, informed by public feedback to date
- Emerging directions for updated land use policies, including new thinking on opportunities to encourage a mix of uses and provide stronger guidance on appropriate built form, identifying retail priority streets, and the office/institutional uses Downtown
