Evaluate for Change’s One-Day Building a Culture of Evaluation training is for individuals and teams/organizations dedicated to adopting a data-driven process to ensure they are measuring their true impact. The training walks participants through three major topics – beginning with conceptualizing what being a data-driven professional or organization means, to how to define what measures are truly important to you, followed by adapting strategic planning for implementing a successful evaluation. All three topics are accompanied by a hands-on activity, leaving participants with an understanding of what it will take to build a culture that is truly rooted in evaluation!

We will discuss why so many social sector professionals feel uneasy about using data in their practice. Engaging in an activity around unpacking the anxiety and fear of applying an evaluation will give participants a better understanding of how they can adopt a Culture of Evaluation, while still honoring their clients and communities.
Defining What Success Means to Your Organization
Explore the technical process in how you can use research and evaluation methods to clearly define what success means to your organization. Once success is defined, you will be able to create variables, goals, and a design process taking you from concept to implementation.
Learn the steps it takes to create a winning evaluation plan. From advance design and methods to databases, we will discuss what you need to make your evaluation a success. Our template and workshop will prepare you for the final step of developing a blueprint that will be used as a guide in applying a sound evaluation plan.
