Description

Join Ted Schwartz at NMIH to build your very own FM radio. Participants will learn the basics of working with a printed circuit board while becoming familiar with a variety of electrical components. There will be a soldering tutorial prior to building the radio.

$35 for participants 12 and older. Snap circuit radio building will be available for younger participants free of charge.

Ted is a graduate of the Bethlehem Steel electrical apprentice program and worked as a motor inspector for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for nine years. After earning an Associate of Science degree in electronic technology from Lincoln Technical Institute, he began a 31 year career at Air Products as an electrical supervisor specializing in building automation and machine controls, later retiring as Superintendent of Physical Plant Operations. He also holds a Bachelor's in Business from DeSales University.
