Mission for Movement & Dance 411 proudly present our “Build your Brand” Discounted Headshot Event! Proceeds benefit Mission 4 Movement, a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to the promotion and celebration of dance, and to supporting those underserved in the arts community through mentoring, opportunities, resources and education.

New year, new opportunities! Auditions await talented actors, dancers, singers and other performing artists to showcase their talent. First and foremost, your total package must be completed. Headshots are one of the most important aspects of an artist's presentation, but also one of the most stressful when considering the average cost. That’s why Mission 4 Movement is offering a $40* package of 2 (two) unedited headshots as well as admission to 2 (two) FREE workshops in order for you to begin or enhance your success in the arts. This event gives experienced or up and coming artists an opportunity to get low cost services to help further their career. It is our goal to bring HIGH QUALITY services and training to our artists. The event will consist of:

FREE Resume Building Workshop 1:00 pm.

This workshop is sponsored by 411 South Talent Agency. Participants will learn what agents choreographers and casting directors look for on your resume. The workshop discusses resume formats and appropriate content. There is a wealth of information shared from experts in entertainment.

FREE Think Like an Artist, Act Like an Entrepreneur 3:00 pm.

This workshop details how to apply the same strategies businesses use to showcase your creative brand. Enhance your online presence and get more media attention with these quick tips and techniques from a marketing veteran.

FAQs

Can you give me more details about the event?

Of course! For the headshots, it will be only 1 look and your time slot will be 10 minutes with the photographer. We will not have any makeup done at the event, so please come camera ready. You will receieve 2 DIGITAL headshots with no editing.

When should I show up?

Everyone signs up for a block of time. So if you sign up for 1pm, then your time slot will be between 1pm and 2pm. The order of everyone is a first-come, first-serve basis, so that is dependent on when you arrive.

Can anyone of any age sign up?

As long as they can complete their photography session in 10 minutes, yes. Mission 4 Movement is looking to help further the career of artists of all ages, so please take advantage of this event!

What if I want more than one look?

One sign up only includes 2 digital headshots and 1 look, so you would have to sign up for another block of time if you would like more than one look. So you would have to, essentially, purchase another ticket for another look.
