How might families, schools, communities, and organizations impact a girl’s decision to pursue careers in STEM or Entrepreneurship?

Birth to College: Build & Support the Female Talent Pipeline

OVERVIEW

Join us! Together we will ideate actionable solutions that can positively impact a girl's decision to pursue majors & careers in STEM and entrepreneurship, and how we can influence our families, communities, schools, workplace, country, and the world to start making changes.

Our girls are often hindered from pursuing STEM and entrepreneurship by their surrounding environment, culture, people and our unconscious biases. Women are a key economic force whose potential needs to be realized and capitalized on to improve our social and economic prosperity. A lot of talk, but little done. It's time to take action.

SCHEDULE

We start with experts who share their perspectives and insights. Their role is to activate your thinking. Then we break into small groups for a workshop where we will utilize Design Thinking & Innovation frameworks to ultimately define actions we can each take within our family, community, and at work to support a girls pursuit of STEM and Entrepreneurship.
