Children will:
- Learn how buildings are imagined and brought to life
- Sketch, plan and build their own dream spaces
- Work with a variety of materials to create models
- Build teamwork, creativity, and confidence
- Gain early insight into architecture and design thinking
Led by a design professional in a cosy home studio, this workshop offers a supportive, creative environment where children don’t just play — they begin to understand how real buildings and spaces are designed. They’ll leave not only with their own creations, but also with practical knowledge they can build on for years to come.

Frequently asked questions
This workshop is designed for children aged 5 and up. Activities are adapted to be age-appropriate, so younger children are supported while older ones are challenged and engaged.
Children will be introduced to the real stages of architectural design using the RIBA Plan of Work as a framework. They'll learn how buildings are planned, sketched, and developed, while working on their own design projects with guidance every step of the way.
To ensure each child gets plenty of attention and guidance, group sizes are kept very small (max. 4 children).
Parents are welcome to settle children in at the start, but we encourage independence during the session. For younger children or those who are nervous, we can discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
