Description

In this 3-hour workshop, designed for Parents, Practitioners, Organization/Business Employees and Activists, we explore how bias and racial prejudice (conscious and subconscious) develop and impact interpersonal engagement. Participants are introduced to social and emotional learning tools to interrupt bias and prejudice in the moment. They are asked to consider: What does it mean to develop relationships where consciousness, accountability and action can thrive in multicultural communities?

GOALS OF THE WORKSHOP:

  • NOTICE the need for empathy and practicing mindful engagement
  • ACTION towards critical responsiveness

Tickets sales are in 3 tiers. Our intention is to provide this at a lower cost as a means for accessibility and equity. We are offering tiered pricing and use an honor system. Please choose the price that is appropriate for you.
