Description

STEM Learning Labs - Wearable Technology Part 2

STEMPaths offers Build an Interactive Lamps Workshop (One day)

Learn about how to expand your creative potential with the tools and techniques of makerspaces. With this hands-on workshop you will learn how to create your own sensing lamp using a distance sensor, programmable LEDs, and a 2D vinyl cutter.

Through hands-on projects you will also learn best practices for the life-long learning, collaborative knowledge sharing, and innovation exemplified by the maker culture for children ages 8 - 13.

Housed in our Learning Labs, students will experience Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through fun and engaging projects and developmentally appropriate activities. Our programs foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while building self-esteem and confidence in the STEM subjects.
