Project: A Sample Web Application for a Dog Shelter
Location: Wynyard 5.30pm to 7pm
You will need: Your laptop and Bubble login. A small amount of familiarity with Bubble.is eg. you have tried it and are familiar with the basic layout and functionality.
What we will cover: If we have time we will cover all of the following items until 7-7.30pm:
1. Database Basics – Entering Dogs and Referring Councils using both .csv files and the Bubble database
2. Showing more data on the Dog ID screen by using:
b. Reusable Pop-ups
c. Filter buttons
d. Animated Notification pop-ups
3. Navigation Basics – Navigating between the Current Dogs screen to the Staff screen from a navigation sidebar where the hover and active states of the buttons change colour
4. Open Floor: Talk about any Bubble problems or Bubble discoveries you have made
Bubble (https://bubble.is) is an application that allows non-coders the ability to build web applications. If you can use MS Word, you can use Bubble. However, it does have a learning curve! Come to our event to learn more about the tips and tricks to using Bubble.
