In this small-group workshop, writer/producer Miguel Tejada-Flores – Revenge of the Nerds, Fright Night 2, Frankenstein’s Army, Screamers, SOZ: Soldiers or Zombies –will help you craft a sharp, compelling pitch.

Learning to pitch your story isn’t just about selling it—it’s also one of the best ways to uncover what’s working, what’s not, and how to bring your story to life in the most powerful way.

The session will begin with a discussion of voice, story and pitching. You will then be able to pitch to Miguel. After receiving his feedback and that of the other particpants, you will refine your pitch/story, discuss it with other participants and then pitch it to Miguel again, for final feedback.

If you want to pitch the way you would to a studio executive and get feedback on form as well as content, that's great. If you aren't that far in your process and would rather focus on feedback connected to story, that works too.
