BUD SHUSTER RUN FOR YOUR LIFE RACE

Our ninth year for the Bud Shuster Run for Your Life Race is one of our most unique races as participants run along Route 36. NEW this year - our race will consist of a 1 mile run, 2 mile run and 2 mile walk.
Due to safety reasons, we ask to PLEASE refrain from headphones. The inside lane will be closed for runners; however, the outside WILL be open to traffic. Please stay well inside the cones at ALL TIMES. We try our best to have a safe event, however, always be on the lookout for vehicles. This course does take place in a busy section of town. Please listen to all Police and Road Marshals and follow their directions.
1 Mile Run: Start and finish will be at the backside of the YMCA.
2 Mile Run and Walk: Start and finish will be at the backside of the YMCA. Turnaround will be on Cedar Street where a road marshal will be standing. There will be NO WATER STATION for the 2 mile run/walk.

What is the refund policy?
Registration is non-refundable. Remember, if you cannot make it to the event, your registration fee is going towards a good cause.
When can I pick up my race packet?
Before the race, packets will be available at the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA starting the Thursday before the race from 5:00am to 9:00pm. Day of the race you may pick up your packet at the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA from 6:30 to 7:40am.
What are my parking options getting to the event?
Parking will be available at the YMCA and the Hollidaysburg Jr High parking lot for race participants.
What Awards will be handed out?
Awards will be given out immediately following the race. We will be awarding medals for the following categories: 1 mile run top 5 male & female, 2M run & 2M walk overall top female & male finishers. Awards will also be given out to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
Awards winners are asked to remain for the Awards Ceremony as no awards will be mailed
