Bucks Youth Action Conference
Thu 13 April 2017, 10:00 – 15:00 BST
Are you aged 13-24 and want to be equipped to take action on the issues that affect you and your community? Do you want to learn how to start new projects that make a difference? Or are you a professional or volunteer working with young people who need these skills?
If so, Aylesbury Youth Action (AYA) and Wycombe Youth Action (WYA) invite you to a day packed with ideas and resources for you to take control and make a change to the things that matter to you!
The Bucks Youth Action Conference involves a mixture of all-together sessions, interactive workshops, break-off groups, resourcing and opportunities for one-to-one information and guidance.
The day is completely free for eligible participants* and includes lunch and refreshments.
There is also an opportunity for you to showcase your work or share resources if you are: currently involved in youth social action in Buckinghamshire; a funder who is able to fund youth social action projects; an organisation who is able to provide support and advice to vulnerable and at risk young people in Buckinghamshire - for more information or if you have questions please contact us.
*The event is free for young people aged 13-24 living within Buckinghamshire, as well as their youth workers / intervention officers coming with them. If you are unsure if you are eligible for a free place please contact either Sara at AYA or Sadia at WYA. For organisations and individuals who are not eligible but would still like to come, there will be a fee for the conference. Spaces are strictly limited.
