About this event

Please join us at our monthly ABWA Buckhead meeting. We will start meeting in person in 2022 and also have ZOOM available for anyone who can not make it in person. Please note our NEW LOCATION at Terminus 100 - Alma Cocina Buckhead (corner of Piedmont & Peachtree in Heart of Buckhead next to Buckhead MARTA). So come out to the Alma Cocina in Buckhead and we look forward to seeing you there!


Join the professional women of the American Business Women's Association's Buckhead Chapter as we learn how to break down barriers for women.  ABWA has been doing so since 1949! 


The mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

Each month we have networking and educational speakers that help us to kick down barriers and succeed in business.  Whether you are a business owner, leader in your business, or a respected subject matter expert, you will see that ABWA supports your leadership growth and creates a community which you can thrive in!   Check out abwa.org to learn more! 

Our Sept meeting (Mon, Sept 19th at 11:30 pm - 1 pm) will be focused leadership. Title: Lace up Your Sneakers and Step Into Your Leadership Shoes. Mindset/leadershipo coach Diana Murphy will tee you up with mindset tools you can use NOW to create a powerful quarter in your business and career. Join us and help accelerate your results! Hope you can join us in person or via ZOOM.

Please register for the meeting and if you come in person, you will need to pay for your own food. We will send out the menu & information to all registered guests Sunday night prior to meeting.

We certainly hope you will join us and continue to LEARN & GROW together!     


 What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

For in person meetings only: Parking is available onsite. You can take MARTA to the Buckhead Station (Buckhead Loop) and walk to Terminus 100 building (Alma Cocina). The restaurant also has valet parking & validates parking in parking deck. 

What can I bring into the event?

You just need to bring yourself and your smile to the meetings.   For in person meetings, we encourage business cards to share as well.  

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can reach out to the communications chair, Lynn Anderson at 404-931-5103 or lynn_anderson84@att.net.  If you need a special meal or have dietary restrictions (for in person meetings) please let Lynn know. 

 What's the refund policy?

We ask that you reserve your spot at least 7 days in advance.  No payments will be taken at the door.   We have to confirm attendees 1 week prior (so no refunds after this time).  If joining virtually, we ask you to sign up at least 1 day in advance of the meeting so we can get you the ZOOM meeting details prior to the event.   However, we know that things do come up and if so, feel free to share your ticket/slot with a co-worker, employee, friend, etc. to take your spot if something comes up.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We will have a roster of those signed up so your ticket is not necessary.   In case of any issues, it is helpful to have it just in case (for in person meetings).
