Black Treatment Advocates Network & Black AIDS Advisory Group Presents the 2016 Community Service Awards Banquet & Holiday Event
The Broward County BTAN HIV/AIDS Community Service Awards are intended to recognize, reward and encourage activities that make or have a significant impact on meeting the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS in Broward County and utilizes a High Impact approach for HIV prevention. The award categories are:
Prestigious Care Award
The prestigious care award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to the public health and social wellbeing of Broward County residents living with HIV.
Excellence in Community Partnership Award
Recipients of the excellence in community partnership award will have demonstrated an exceptional record of service in collaboration with Broward Black Treatment Advocates Network. The award will be given to the community agency/group/institution that demonstrates excellence in collaborative work with BTAN, resulting in a partnership that produces positive differences in the Black community.
Distinguished Community Champion Award
Nominee demonstrates outstanding achievement in and commitment to community outreach, engagement, and mobilization with an established record of sustained impact.
The Juliette Love Leadership Award
Recognizes a longtime leader committed to raising awareness of HIV/AIDS in the Black community of Broward County who have demonstrated an exceptional record of exemplary commitment and service through volunteerism or service.
The event is FREE but RSVP is required.
