Will you be doing a training day?
Yes! Training day will be 4/21, the day before this event. Those tickets will be sold separately. You should get your conference ticket now and check back on the BSidesROC website for details about how to get tickets.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There will be no ID requirements to get into the conference. This is not a child oriented event but all are welcome.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is in the RIT parking lot located near the building. Check the https://www.bsidesroc.com website for additional parking directions closer to the event.
What should I bring into the event?
Laptops are recommended if you're interested in playing the CTF or crypto challenge. If you're interested in career opportunities, we'd recommend bringing a hard copy of your resume.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can email info at bsidesroc.com if you have any questions.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We will be able to process a printed or electronic version of the ticket.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Nym, name, someone else's name, it's up to you. We do require a valid email address.
