Here's the basic agenda each week:

Give & Get Ready Room:

(GIVE) Share your expertise with your own reopening tip or recommendation. Show off your work and successes. Everyone adds ideas to the Forum.

(GET) Tell us what's happening in your business, your industry, your town, your passion, your goals, your successes, and your challenges. Got a question or trying to make a big decision? Tell us about it and let us all be your ad hoc advisory board. We will expect you to share your recommendations and expertise to help others, too.

Mentor Zone:

Re-invent, re-structure, re-build, and re-open your business with ideas from special business experts. Short, practical advice and group discussion. We focus on how to move forward successfully when it comes to sales, marketing, legal, funding, tech, employees and management. Get your priorities straight for the week, the month, the year ahead and beyond.

Success Resources:

The focus is on connections, opportunities, and regulatory issues of interest. Our goal is to make you "Resource-Full" of news and resources to improve your profits and balance business and life. This section is provided by BSC CEO Jan Triplett, co-author of Thinking Big, Staying Small and and author of Networker's Guide to Success and Easy to be green, a guide for small enterprises.

Your 3-part role:

Contributor/Coach: You may be new to business but you have ideas, too. You have years of experience to draw on. Maybe you had a business and can share what you learned. Everyone is welcome. So is every idea. We encourage you to share your expertise and insight on our topics at every meeting. Become a regular.

Guest Mentor: Want 10 minutes to speak on your special expertise? If you have something we should hear, contact us. Be our guest mentor for Mentor Zone. You don't have to be an expert speaker to lead this section of the Forum. This can be done as a Q & A interview by our host, Jan Triplett, instead of a talk.

Encourager: Got an idea to improve the Forum or a useful comment? We welcome it at any time but it may need to be offline so we can stay on time. We stop at 1PM sharp.

Our mission:

The Forum is one way the award-winning BSC team helps you and your business move ahead by helping you and others. We support your desire contribute to your business, your future, your people, your planet, and your community.

As businesspeople, we learn from each other and we improve. We are more than survivors. We re-think our passion, re-invent jobs, re-create new solutions, rebuild, and reduce our risk to re-open. For us, it's more than just "pivoting. It doesn't have to mean we have to "start over from the nothing". We know a lot and we are "can do" people. We can do this because as owners we are closer to our customers' needs and wants than anyone else. We think big and like to stay small.

Final thoughts:

Be kind. Be safe. Be optimistic. Be prepared. Stay curious. Take action — be part of the new normal for yourself, your customers, and your community.

Here's to working together for greater sustainability in businesses that focus on a better triple bottom line:

  1. Great products and services you are passionate about at fair prices and with a fair return,
  2. Working for people, and
  3. Benefiting the planet.

Your moderator and Forum host opening doors to your success,
