Here's the basic agenda each week:

Give & Get Ready Room:

(GIVE) Share your expertise with your own rebuilding tip or recommendation. Everyone adds ideas to the Forum.

(GET) Tell us what's happening in your business, your industry, your town, your passion, your goals, your successes, and your challenges. Got a question or trying to make a big decision? Tell us about it and let us all be your ad hoc advisory board. We will expect you to share your recommendations and expertise to help others, too.

Mentor Zone: Re-invent, re-structure, re-build your business with ideas from special business experts. Regulars and invited experts provide short, practical advice on how to move forward successfully when it comes to sales, marketing, legal, funding, tech, employees and management. You get to comment, too. Get your priorities straight for the week, the month, the year ahead and beyond.

Rebuilding Resources: Our goal is to make you Resource-Full. News and resources that help you balance business and life from Networker's Guide to Success author and BSC CEO Jan Triplett. The focus is on connections and regulatory issues of interest.

Your role:

Become a regular. You may be new to business but you have ideas, too. You have years of experience to draw on. Maybe you had a business and can share what you learned. Everyone is welcome. So is every idea. We encourage you to share your expertise and insight on our topics at every meeting.

If you have something we should hear, contact us. New mentors for Mentor Zone are always welcome. You don't have to be an expert speaker to participate in this section of the Forum. This can be done as a Q & A interview instead.

Got an idea or comment about the BSC Rebuilding Business Forum? We welcome it at any time but it may need to be offline so we can stay on time. We stop at 1PM sharp.

Our mission:

The Forum is one way the BSC helps you and your business get moving ahead. We support your desire to do something for others and encourage you to take positive actions that can contribute to your business, your future, and your community.

What I know is that we learn from each other and improve. We are more than survivors. We re-think our passion, re-invent jobs, re-create new solutions, and rebuild. It's more than just "pivoting" and it doesn't have to mean "starting over from the nothing". We know a lot and are "can do" people. We can do this because as owners we are closer to our customers' needs and wants than anyone else.

Be kind. Be safe. Be optimistic. Be prepared. Stay curios. Take action — be part of rebuilding the new normal for yourself, your customers, and your community.

Here's to working together for greater sustainability in business focusing on a triple bottom line:

  1. Great products and services you are passionate about at fair prices and with a fair return,
  2. Working for people, and
  3. Benefiting the planet.

Your moderator and Forum host opening doors to your success,

Jan Triplett, Ph.D. CBTAC

CEO, Business Success Center, award-winning sustainability experts, & Professor, Dr. Susan Nolan Palmer MBA Program, Mary Baldwin University
