Join Be Social Change on Monday, March 20th from 7PM to 9PM for Advanced Facilitation Skills - Growing Your Confidence as a Facilitator with Kristina Drury, Founder and Creative Director of TYTHEdesign.
Are you looking to strengthen your ability to guide collaborative group sessions and establish yourself as a leader along the way? Increase productivity, team collaboration, and efficiency as a leader by building your confidence and skills as a facilitator.
The second class in a two-part series, this course focuses on how to plan and run a successful facilitated session, highlighting strategies and techniques for successful group dynamics. In a participatory activity, TYTHE models troubleshooting approaches and specific tools to ease difficult situations. Gain an understanding of your own facilitation style and how to increase your confidence in this unique role. With specific examples, tailored techniques and a participatory activity, this class will bridge the gap between theory and practice.
This class builds upon Intro to Facilitation - Fundamentals in Becoming an Effective Facilitator (Monday, March 6th 7-9PM). Prior attendance is recommended, but not required if you are familiar with facilitation and co-creation.

Kristina Drury (@TYTHEdesign) founder of TYTHEdesign, is a social entrepreneur, designer and educator. TYTHE, a social impact firm, uses the lens of design and strategy to support organizations build their capacity in the social good community. Under her leadership TYTHE has increased the community impact of over 75 local and global social good organizations including the NYC Dept. of Education, Citi Community Development, Public Policy Lab and California State Library System. Recently, Kristina has been named a UNDP Innovation Expert. Prior to starting TYTHE, Kristina co-led the nonprofit Project H and worked in corporate social responsibility consulting. As an educator she has taught classes, workshops and training to build the capacity of over 600 change-makers, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Her teaching and speaking experience includes engagements at the Clinton Global Initiative University, Cooper-Hewitt Museum and New Museum’s Ideas City Festival.
