About the speakers
Glen Senk is a creative leader who has worked with several of the world's most iconic brands including Bloomingdale's, Habitat and Williams-Sonoma. In 1994, Mr. Senk joined Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ: URBN) as president of Anthropologie, a single-store prototype. While growing Anthropologie into a billion-dollar brand, Mr. Senk assumed responsibility for the Free People brand, and become CEO of URBN in 2007.
Mr. Senk launched his own consumer investment company, Front Row Partners, in 2012, and currently sits on the board of directors of Opening Ceremony, Aritzia and Melissa & Doug, and has previously served on the boards of directors of URBN, Bare Escentuals, Tory Burch, David Yurman and Cooking.com.
In 2007, Forbes named URBN as one of the best-managed companies of the year, crediting the vision of Senk, and in that same year Institutional Magazine named Senk one of the best CEOs in America. In 2010, Senk was named the Chicago Booth School of Business Alumnus of the Year, the FGI Corporate Leader of the Year, and one of Fortune Magazine's Top 50 Businesspeople of the Year.
Brian Bordainick is the Head of Innovative Ventures at Hudson's Bay Company, working on ways to reinvent retail. Previously, he cofounded Dinner Lab, a membership-based social dining experiment that united undiscovered chefs with adventurous diners in unique spaces. The company grew to 20 cities, 90 employees and a valuation north of $30 million.
