 About the speakers

Jared Hecht is a cofounder and the chief executive officer at Fundera, an online marketplace that matches small business owners to the best possible lender. Previously, Jared co-founded GroupMe, a group messaging service that in August 2011 was acquired by Skype, which was subsequently acquired by Microsoft in October 2011.

Prior to GroupMe, he led Business Development at Tumblr where he focused on international expansion and strategic partnerships. Jared currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Columbia University Entrepreneurship Organization and is an investor and advisor to startups such as Codecademy, SmartThings, and TransferWise. Jared was recognized on the Business Insider Silicon Alley 100 list.

Rob Herzog founded ZogSports after having a close call on 9/11. Rob decided to build on the tremendous human charity he witnessed following 9/11 and to help foster community in New York by creating ZogSports.

Today, ZogSports is the largest charity-focused, adult co-ed sports league with operations in 7 cities. ZogSports was listed in Inc. 5000's America's Fastest-Growing Companies, and recognized by Crain's New York as one of the Best Places to Work in New York City. Rob holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from Wharton and a BA in Economics from Brown
