Join us for our 9th Small & Intimate Brunch & Yoga Nidra class at the Cleveland Holistic Collab on Sunday September 24th at 11am.

Autumnal Equinox Yoga Nidra.

Autumnal Equinox begins at 10:21am on the 22nd. The morning of the equinox is when the sun enters Libra....the sign of balanced scales. It is a time of both Harvest and Death. As the days grow shorter, you may find yourself tuning into yourself, going inward and listening to your own inner voice. This season marks a slow down in nature, and for us to observe and follow its example, appreciate the colorful splendor of the change and transition of nature...reminding us it is healthy and natural to let go of things we do not need for the next season nor for the seasons beyond. Follow your intuition. Think of where you were a year ago this season....how far you've come, how much growth your soul has produced. What else can you let go of to make room for new growth? Now is a good time to set new goals to carry you through the cold, dark winter months. Every journey must find its end and Fall is the bittersweet embodiment of this.

We all have our own unique energy and by owning this it gives rise to our purpose and to our true soul calling. It is time to Set your Sacred Intention and Witness your Intention Unfold.

Cassandra Shofar (RYT500/owner of Luna Sidera Yoga & Wellness) leads each class. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor, including Therapeutic Yoga, Chakra Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and a Certified Reiki Master, registered with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga Nidra is a guided sleep based meditation. Although truly profound in it’s effectiveness, this practice is unbelievably simple to do. Many first time students experience the deep stillness, silence and healing only available to very experienced meditators.
Yoga Nidra is effortless to practice. By lying down comfortably on a yoga mat, covered with a blanket in front of the fireplace, guided by a beautiful and compassionate voice, you will begin to feel each nerve and muscle of your body relax.

Cassandra will start the class with setting intention, stretching and Tibetan Singing Bowls before gently leading the class into a deeper state of guided relaxation.You will slowly begin to disengage from the thinking mind, and focus inward on breath and bodily sensations. Slowly stepping down through the different brainwave states to Delta or even Theta. This is somewhat similar to sleep, but you are conscious as you drop into these states. By engaging in different body, and breath awareness techniques, this practice allows the body to deeply relax, releasing tension and tightness physically, emotionally and energetically. In other words, healing the body from past impressions and karma, which cause self-defeating behaviors and conflict.


After the hour is over, you emerge transformed with your senses, body and mind restored and refreshed. Brunch will be served after session including coffee, fresh pressed juice and tisanes, with an ever changing seasonal plant based locally sourced menu.


$20 Very limited space. Pre-registration required. Yoga mats and blankets provided, although you may bring your own.
