Event description

Description

Join the brave men and women of Fire Station 21 in Buckhead for a morning of delicious food and inspiring company as we fundraise in support of two crucial youth development programs with the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department. A fully-catered breakfast will be provided as we dine right in the heart of the fire station. You'll get an up close look at the day-to-day lives of these heroes, get to interact with them and their equipment, hear some inspiring speakers and participate in a raffle to win ride alongs and one-of-a-kind memorabilia.

All proceeds from this event will go to support the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department's youth programs.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to directly support youth advancement programs where they're needed most. This will surely be your most unique dining experience of the year.

About the programs:

  • Atlanta Fire Rescue's Delayed Entry Program - This program is currently serving 19 students at Therrell High School. The high school course, which has been in the works since 2017, is being piloted by Atlanta Public Schools with a plan for expansion. Through a combination of hands-on training and classroom instruction, students learn the core values of being a firefighters along with safety precautions.

  • Camp Ignite - Serves as a forum for young women to gain hands-on experience as a career woman in the fire and emergency services industry. Camp curriculum is based on four pillars: Career, Life Skills, Leadership Skills and Social Responsibility and Service. Camp Ignite graduated its first camp with 15 young women back in February 2019.
