Mid-Career Financial Planning
Part of Brum Financial Futures, presented by Birmingham City Council in partnership with the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), and produced and delivered by AND Capital Projects (ANDCP).
With many employees also navigating life as parents or carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), we’re proud to host the Workplace Support for SEND Families Workshop, sponsored by INSIGHT IFA and delivered by SEND Protect.
This empowering session helps create more informed, inclusive, and supportive workplaces by guiding families and HR teams through key aspects of SEND financial and legal planning.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Build a personal financial plan for long-term care, education, medical, and housing needs.
- Understand how financial planning for children with SEND differs.
- Protect future benefits while saving or gifting money.
- Use legal tools like Wills, Trusts (including Vulnerable Persons Trusts), Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Guardianship to secure their child’s future.
- Review and strengthen workplace financial policies to reduce stress and uncertainty.
Together, we’ll help families find clarity and peace of mind, ensuring that every child’s future is protected through proactive, compassionate planning.
