Event description
The Presbybop Quartet celebrates the music of Dave Brubeck on the event of his 100th birthday

About this Event

Join us for a free concert as an outstanding jazz ensemble interprets the classic music of the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Featuring Bill Carter on piano, Tony Marino on bass, Ron Vincent on drums, and special guest Nelson Hill on saxophone, the December 6 concert will celebrate the ingenuity of Dave Brubeck, born exactly 100 years ago on this date.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, a limited number of seats will be available in the venue. All who attend will be screened for the virus at the door and asked to wear face masks. Thanks to the generosity of the Brubeck family, the concert will also be live streamed on the church's site on YouTube.

This project was supported by a Lackawanna County Arts and Culture Community grant, a program of Lackawanna County Commissioners Jerry Notarianni, Debi Domenick, Esq., and Chris Chermak. It is co-sponsored by Presbybop Music and First Presbyterian Church.
