Description

The New Mexico Principles and Practice Guide was recently developed by the New Mexico Center for Nonprofit Excellence. The guide provides a basis for ensuring that nonprofit organizations operate with integrity and that its programs and services are of the highest possible quality.

This session will introduce participants to the New Mexico Principles and Practices Guide and to learn how to use it to:

• Evaluate your nonprofit’s regulatory compliance;

Refine your operations;

• Enhance the effectiveness and quality of the nonprofit sector;

Increase good governance, accountability, and transparency; and

• Increase public understanding of the role and impact of the nonprofit sector in New Mexico.
