As a nonprofit, relationships are paramount to your organization’s success. Your external and internal customer satisfaction starts at the first point of contact and must be consistently reinforced throughout your organization. This presentation will show how to do it right the first time.
Presenter: Robert Robins
Robins is an affiliate professor in the Hospitality and Tourism Management department at Grand Valley State University. He has spent over 30 years in the hospitality industry, notably as an executive chef for a number of West Michigan restaurants and clubs, and as a private club manager. He earned his Certified Club Manager (C.C.M.) designation form the Club Managers Association of America in 1997. Robert also holds the Certified Hospitality Educator (C.H.E.), and C.A.R.E. Instructor designations from the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Currently, Robert is working on his doctorate in education technology at Central Michigan University.
The Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Series is a partnership between the School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration and the Johnson Center for Philanthropy that serves as a resource to the nonprofit community and provides a learning opportunity for students, faculty, and practitioners. A variety of timely and relevant topics are presented throughout the academic year.
This event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance in order to obtain a parking pass. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch; coffee and tea will be provided.
