Q: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A: No, you do not.
Q: Where do I go when I arrive?
A: Please come to Room 150.
Q: Where can I park?
A: The Aviation Institute is located on our South Campus – 7200 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, Building 99. The Aviation Institute is located away from the main cluster of buildings in the extreme southwest corner of the campus tucked up against North Perry Airport. Free Visitor Parking is available in Lot F, which is next to the soccer field. Do not park in Lot E.
Q: How long will the tour take?
A: Please allow between 45-60 minutes for the tour.
Q: Will I be able to register for classes during my visit?
A: Depending on the time of year, registration for upcoming terms may, or may not, be open. We have computers in our lobby which you can use to apply to the college. You can also apply to the college directly from home by visiting www.broward.edu and clicking on the 'Apply Now' button.

Broward College Aviation Institute
The Aviation Institute, established in 1966, links Broward College’s Judson A. Samuels South Campus with North Perry Airport. Our beautiful complex is the perfect environment in which to start a career in aviation. Our students receive industry training from highly skilled instructors at an affordable cost. Students are surrounded by aviation professionals and experience flight and maintenance operations in action, and have all the facilities of a full-service college campus.
Broward College’s Aviation Institute is the only public facility in Broward County dedicated to the training of aviation professionals. The Institute offers:
• on-site flight training
• a 7,000 sq. ft. hangar
• flight lab and state-of-the-art flight training devices
• tower, radar, enroute air traffic control simulators
• aircraft maintenance training equipment
• computer-based testing
• online courses and spacious workshops
• staff examiners to help prepare students for aviation careers in the 21st century.
