Description

Brothers Keeper featuring John Popper and Jono Manson

Brothers Keeper is a trio that honestly displays heart and soul and rock and roll. The core band consists of Scott Rednor on guitar, Michael Jude on bass, and John Michel on drums.

For the past 18 years, Michael and John have steadily played with the John Oates Band (Hall and Oates) and many other world renown musicians, while Scott has been involved in recording and touring projects on a national level for more than 20 years.

This debut from Brothers Keeper that featured Blues Traveler front man, John Popper, and NYC Rock and Blues Pioneer, Jono Manson, is an Americana/Rock n Roll album, featuring 5 lead singers, bringing together their wealth of experience, and a wide range of musical styles. The LP was written by the band in Santa Fe in April of 2013, and recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee in June of 2013.

Other guests on the album include Jason Crosby (Phil Lesh and Friends, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks), Glenn McClelland (Ween), DJ Logic, Joel Guzman, and Rob Eaton Jr. This is a Rock n roll outfit like you haven’t seen in a long, long time!

This debut album, Todd Meadows, was picked up by more than 100 radio stations across the country, spent 4 months at #2 on the Jamband Radio charts, spent many months in top 50 on AAA radio. The record has also been released throughout Europe by Appaloosa Records, followed up with a very successful Italian tour.

Brothers Keeper recently recorded a song at their studio in Vail for The Deaner Album, the first solo release from Dean Ween. Scott has also been touring with The Dean Ween Group for the past 2 years. The band has recently been writing and recording their next record, and hosting residency at Shakedown Bar in Vail, Colorado.

They are very excited to get together with John Popper and Jono Manson for the New Years trio of shows! The bands last performance, at the 105 year old Strawberry Days festival, in Glenwood Springs, drew the largest crowd in the history of the festival.

Pure rock and roll magic pours out of this quintet!
