Event Information
Description
This walk will consist of school-age young adults and children throughout Brooklyn that are in support of children whose parents are at risk of deportation and the children at the border. Many are empathetic to families that are fearful of losing parents. Numerous children, organizations and groups have been reaching out in support of these children. Therefore, this walk will show support and bring awareness to various support for these children in need. The walk will start at the Barclay Center (Atlantic Ave & Flatbush Ave.) we will walk down Atlantic Ave to make a right on Vanderbilt, then walk to Grand Army Plaza (Flatbush Ave & Eastern Parkway).
Event Itinerary
8:00 am - 8:45 am Start Location (Barclay Center)
Teams and schools line up to begin walk.
9:00 am - 10:00 am Walk starts
Walk will start from Atlantic Ave in front of Barclay to Vanderbilt down to Grand Army Plaza.
End Location: Grand Army Plaza Immigration Reform Event
11:00 am - 11:25 am
