The Brooklyn Three Kings Day Parade is a yearly cultural and traditional celebration in Williamsburg. Every January 5th before going to sleep, children leave grass or hay under their beds for the camels that carry the Three Kings on their travels to deliver gifts to children around the world. The next day, friends and families gather to celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings. The Brooklyn Three Kings Day Parade continues this tradition by holding a fun and colorful parade with celebrity appearances, musical and cultural performances, and special guests.
On January 8, 2017, the 20th Anniversary edition of the Brooklyn Three Kings Day Parade will travel down Graham Avenue, in Williamsburg, to the sound of Caribbean, Latin American and European beats. Local school children dressed as Kings and angels will lead the Three King’s and their camels, and other animals, to a performance stage on Graham Avenue and Broadway. Immediately after, the Kings will distribute gifts to children participating in the day's events.
Join the fun by meeting us on Graham Avenue on January 8th. See you there!
