NOTE: All are welcome to attend, but each guest must register individually. Scholars and Staff of the Brooklyn STEAM Center do NOT need to register
The Brooklyn STEAM Center is excited to invite you to its annual Public Showcase! Located on the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the Brooklyn STEAM Center is an innovative career and technical training hub for 11th and 12th grade students, which prepares a pipeline of talented young adults who will thrive in the rapidly evolving manufacturing, technology, and creative fields.
Brooklyn STEAM scholars are excited to meet you and demonstrate their projects from their respective Career & Technical Education (CTE) fields. Come and engage in conversation around their development and serve as a potential collaborator in helping to strengthen their future path to a career. The Public Showcase will consist of both a morning session for our Senior students (9AM-10:30AM) and as afternoon session with our Juniors (1PM-2:30PM)--attendees are welcome to attend one or both sessions! If you choose to attend both sessions we ask that you please register for both.
At the Brooklyn STEAM Center, scholars study one of six CTE pathways:
- Construction Technology
- Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management
- Cybersecurity
- Design & Engineering
- Film & Media
- Full Stack Development
