Come join us for some pickup games on Open Curling Night!

We'll be playing 6-end games with guests and other local clubs such as Long Island Curling Club & Plainfield Curling Club. Sign up as a four person team, or indivdually and we'll assign you to a team.

Make a note of your team name in the team notes section when you check out. Or if you are less than four players make a note of the other teammates you want to play with and we'll do our best to keep you on the same team together.

All player slots are first come first served, so if you want to make sure your whole team is signed up, the surest way to do this is to buy a block of four tickets all at once in one order. Our events often sell out in a matter of days.

This is OPEN to Brooklyn Lakeside Curling Club members, members of other clubs, and anyone who has taken a Try Curling/Learn to Curl class.

There will be outdoor, socially distanced broomstacking afterwards with beer and water provided by Brooklyn Curling Center.

Please plan to show up at 6:45pm to account for any traffic, parking or subway delays and so you have time to find your team, complete the waiver paperwork and get out on the ice on time at 7:15!

LOCATION: LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park, 171 East Dr, Brooklyn NY 11225. Take the Q train to Parkside Av. or otherwise find your way to the Parkside and Ocean Avenue entrance to Prospect Park, enter the park and walk up the hill. 

COVID-19 Guidelines: Brooklyn Lakeside Curling Club is committed to conducting a safe curling experience and has developed an extensive set of safety guidelines for both gameplay on the ice, as well as setup, breakdown and socializing off the ice. ALL CURLERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE BLCC COVID-19 GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2020-2021 SEASON. Please make sure you review the guidelines on our site before registering and before showing up for the event.

All curlers will be required to sign our Declaration of Compliance with the BLCC Covid-19 Player Safety Guidelines along with the standard BLCC Participant Release and Lakeside Release before your class. Failure to adhere to the guidelines may result in a player being asked to leave the Lakeside facility without refund. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.

By registering for this event you agree to abide by the BLCC COVID-19 Player Safety Guidelines. You also agree to receive emails from us regarding club news.

REFUNDS & COVID-19: Because of the uncertain nature of curling during the pandemic, we may be subject to cancelling the event if there is an outbreak within Brooklyn Lakeside Curling Club or at the Lakeside facility, or due to changing state & local government mandates or restrictions. In the event of a shutdown of the curling club by a mandate issued by the federal, state, or local government, BLCC will provide a refund.

WEATHER OR FACILITY CANCELLATION: On rare occasions we have to reschedule or cancel due to weather or facility issues. If this happens, we will attempt to reschedule you. Please check your email on the day of the event to make sure we are still curling. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule you. If that is the case, you will be refunded.
