Photography The Art of Portraiture (age 16 & up) NEW Portraits can be powerful and evocative or just plain blah. What makes a good one and why is it so hard? What do you need to know to create a memorable portrait? This course will help you understand how to create them. An artist’s view and brief history of portraiture will introduce the technical and artistic principles of photographic portraiture. Discover the tools you really need to make great portraits. Understanding the qualities of light and lighting ratios will improve your work far more than any hardware or software. Find out the importance of listening and engaging your subject. A basic knowledge of photography is helpful but not required. An extensive Q&A will allow you to get answers to beginning and advanced questions.
