Event description
The Bromo Arts District Neighborhood Lights opening reception for The Gluegunheim.

About this Event

Celebrate the opening night of the Gluegunheim exhibit during the Bromo Arts District Neighborhood Lights. Enjoy free drinks and light fare at Current Space before exploring the light displays in the neighborhood.

The Gluegunheim: Bromo elevates Baltimore Rock Opera Society's (BROS) and Fluid Movement's props and costumes - lovingly detailed craft pieces - by placing them in a polished museum environment and setting the entire exhibit inside a fictional universe of wonder and magic. As a historic suit of armor, taxidermied lion, or ancient urn would be displayed in a history museum, this exhibit will show and describe each item from within its fictional backstory. The display will occupy window fronts in the 300 and 400 blocks of North Howard Street.

Sponsored by the Bromo Arts District, Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, and Market Center Merchants Association. Hosted at Current Space in partnership with BROS and Fluid Movement. Special thanks to Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, Planned Parenthood of Maryland, Howard Row, Current Space, and Vitruvius.
