Event description

Description

“It’s time to let go of the Baggage!”

Whole Woman Ministries presents The Broken Beautiful, a dynamic 2-Day conference. This interactive experience is designed to help you acknowledge and find the beauty in your brokenness, giving you the tools and perspective to help you toward wholeness. In an elegant setting designed to reflect your inner beauty and worthiness, this conference creates three opportunities for women to network, engage, and empower each other, fostering open dialogue that we hope will lead to honest reflection and positive change. Each presentation incorporates stimulation for all five senses. The Broken Beautiful will nourish you body, mind and soul.

We are prayerful that attendees will walk away

  • no longer feeling alone.
  • determined not to be defined by past hurt.
  • with their hands and hearts strengthened in sisterhood.
  • with a plan to overcome the challenges that imprison us emotionally.

EVENTS

Our Stories Our Hope (panel discussion with light dinner)
(4/20) Friday 6pm to 9pm
Hope is beautiful. When it feels like you’ve lost everything, hope is something to hold on to. Hope creates possibilities that stretch beyond your immediate circumstances, opening windows where there are no doors, allowing you to grow greater than the confines of what you can imagine here and now. Six women will share their stories of hurt, trauma, betrayal, and loss, but more importantly the hope that lead them to triumph.

Breaking Down Brokenness (luncheon workshop)
(4/21) Saturday 8am to 3pm

We think of broken things as ready and worthy of the trash, especially when it seems they can’t be repaired. Some breaks seem so hopeless that there is no point even trying. But women are not things and even in brokenness we are still beautiful. This three-session workshop will examine the breaks that lead us into break down and flip the script, reorienting our perspective on brokenness and providing tools to address the wounds that seem too deep for anything but the waste bin.

Beautiful You: Pumps, Purse & Jeans (Tea-talk)
(4/21) Saturday 6pm to 9pm

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So what do you see when you look in the mirror? Love is a sentiment that we project outwards, but far too often we forget to reflect it back on to ourselves when we look in that mirror. We want women to come comfortably fabulous to this tea-talk to steep in the idea that you are special, you are beautiful, you are worthy to be loved.

All Three Events $90

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18 (KJV)

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43: 18-19 (KJV)
