It’s time to dust off the old jazz slippers and “kick ball change” into the new year! Break a sweat as your learn a dance routine from a favorite Broadway musical with Ventana Ballet Co-Artistic Director Jerreme Rodriguez. Prepare yourself! There will be a lot of shimmying, box steps, pivot turns, and of course, jazz hands.
This all abilities virtual dance event is bound to be the campiest, most thrill seeking event of your week!

Meet Your Instructor:
Jerreme Rodriguez was last seen onstage in Austin, TX with Ventana Ballet in a show he wrote, directed and starred in, The Watchmakers Song. He has assistant directed and choreographed at theaters in New York, Texas, Pittsburgh and Chicago and played the role of Greg in the national tour of A Chorus Line, Directed and Choreographed by Baayork Lee. He’s originated the roles of Kenny in The Double Threat Trio at Pittsburgh CLO, Fernando in Somewhere Over The Border (PCLO and Arizona Theater Co.), Misha in I Like To Be Here (Theater 167), Count Portabello in Helldrivers of Daytona (UT and Chicago), Abe in M33 (Pittsburgh Playhouse), and Louis Cereceda in Looking For Violetta (Quantum Theater). He’s danced in the Ballet Corps of Aida with Austin Lyric Opera, and featured performing Sevillanas with Alba Flamenco in Pittsburgh. He is a librettist in the BMI Musical Theater Workshop, and proud Alumni of Interlochen Arts Academy as well as Point Park Conservatory.
