Event Details

This workshop program is for high school students who will be Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors beginning fall 2017 and are interested in the vast world of Broadway and entertainment dance. The 11 day workshop experience is packed with over 70 hours of classes and rehearsals focusing on multiple dance techniques used in the entertainment industry.  A final showcase performance will be held for family and friends (Saturday, July 22, 2017).

Tuition:

Early Bird Registration (December 1 - March 31): $1045 (plus processing fee) includes room & board

  • One Time Payment of $1045
    OR
  • $500 Deposit, and a second payment of $575 (includes $30 deferred payment fee) due by the early bird registration deadline: March 31, 2017. Total Payment equals $1075 (plus processing fee). The early bird discount is lost if the second tuition payment is not made by the early bird registration deadline, March 31, 2017.

Registration (April 1 – May 31): $1145 (plus processing fee) includes room & board

  • One Time Payment of $1145
    OR
  • $500 Deposit, and a second payment of $675 (includes $30 deferred payment fee) due by the registration deadline: June 20, 2016. Total Payment equals $1175 (plus processing fee).

Sunset Registration (June 1 – 22): $1245 (plus processing fee) includes room & board

  • One Time Payment of $1245

 

Refund Policy: Refunds are not permitted unless injury or emergency prevents participation in workshop activities.


**Please note:  For workshops and intensives, wearing eyeglasses during dance class is prohibited; this is in accordance with the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment policies and procedures.  Thank you for your understanding.

Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment

 

The Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment was established by Dean John Bedford and Chairman Jo Rowan to educate, train and prepare dancers and managers for the American entertainment industry through degree programs offered by Dance and Arts Management Departments. Dance training emphasizes tap, jazz, musical theater dance, rhythm tap and ballet (as used in musical theater).

The School offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance, Bachelor of Science in Dance Management, Bachelor of Science in American Dance Pedagogy, and Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business.

Admission to all dance degree programs is by selective audition.

The School is located in the Edith Kinney Gaylord Center, a world-class facility for teaching arts management and dance.

Former students and graduates can be found performing, teaching, or managing throughout the world, from Broadway and L.A. to Tokyo and beyond.
