Oakland-based organization Beats Rhymes and Life, Inc. finally has a space to call home! Please join us on Saturday, April 6th for a night of celebration and fundraising. The BRL HQ Fundraising Event will feature:
- BRL HQ Tour of our promising new space
- Music by local DJ's
- Food by local resturants
- Drinks (Wines, Beer and Other)
- Photo exhibit featuring photos of BRL's youth and events from the last nine years
- Performances by the BRL Academy
- Raffle with prizes donated by local businesses
- Silent auction
Bring a colleague, bring a friend and help us raise $180,000 to make BRL's first headquarters a reality! BRL is excited to annouce we have teamed up with Principal Architect, Mallory Scott Cusenbery from RossDrulisCusenbery Architecture, Inc. to develop a vision for BRL HQ.

Beats, Rhymes and Life (BRL) is a 501c3 community-based organization dedicated to improving mental health and social outcomes among marginalized youth throughout the Bay Area using Hip Hop as a catalyst for positive change and development. BRL grew from a single idea “communities know best what they need to help and heal themselves”. After nine years of innovating, partnering and building – BRL has emerged as a leader in the field of adolescent mental health with therapeutic programs in Oakland, San Francisco and the South Bronx, New York.
