Event description
One in 40 people of Jewish ancestry are at risk for the BRCA gene mutation. Join Dr. Nadine Tung for a night at Simcha to learn more.

About this Event

"Bring a Buddy" to Simcha for dinner on Thursday, September 19 to learn more about the BRCA gene mutation and meet Dr. Nadine Tung, co-founder of the Bfor Study pioneering online genetic counseling.

Nadine will explain why getting tested for this mutation is so important and so easy.

Invite a friend, a sibling or your partner. Enjoy modern Israeli cuisine from Simcha chef and owner Avi Shemtov. Dinner is on us! Pay only for your drinks.

If you have ever thought about getting tested for the BRCA gene mutation but have not yet acted, we invite you to join us for an evening of camaraderie, learning and dining.

We know that getting tested for BRCA is a whole lot easier when you have a buddy doing it with you, so bring a buddy! And bring your iPhone, iPad or laptop to enroll in the Bfor Study (www.Bforstudy.com).

The Bfor Study offers a simple way to get tested at NO COST as long as you meet these requirements:

1) You have one grandparent of Jewish ancestry

2) You’ve never been tested for the BRCA gene mutation

3) You are at least 25 years or older

Reservations are required although there is no charge for the event. Please reserve your place ASAP as seating is limited.

Simcha is Chef Avi's intimate but exciting new restaurant that celebrates the international inspirations behind modern Israeli cuisine. Guests will enjoy Simcha's signature fresh baked, wood-fired pita, heirloom bumble bee bean hummus and other delicious bites.
