Brilliant Idea is a three-day event where UOIT students from any faculty and year of study will be able to learn how to take an idea from ideation to customer validation to pitching to investors.

On the first day, students who already have business ideas will have 60 seconds to pitch their idea to the group. Participants will vote on the top ideas and then have the chance to form groups to develop those ideas over the duration of the event.

Participants will be supported by experienced advisors and tools to develop, validate and pitch their startup idea to a panel of expert judges.

The top team will have the chance to win $1,500 and the top team will have the option to a fast-track entrance to the Brilliant Incubator.
