The American Society for Microbiology and Research!America, in collaboration with the American Society for Virology cordially invite you to celebrate the opening of “Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World." This Smithsonian exhibit marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Influenza pandemic. ASM is proud to be teaming up with the Smithsonian in this three-year effort.

New data will be released on the results of a national public opinion survey on vaccines and infectious disease outbreaks. These important findings will provide new insights and highlight current trends on public perception of vaccines and outbreaks.

Featured speakers include:

The first 20 attendees to RSVP will be part of a private tour of “Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World,” the new exhibit at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. The tour will be held before opening hours on May 21.
